So here it is. I live at the beach. It’s 80 degrees. Almost April. And I want to wear my white skinnies. Is it wrong? Growing up in the south I’ve always played by the rules, fashion and all else. But it just seems so right to slip on my white jeans, a sequined top and some flats for lunch with the girls. But there it is in the back of my mind – the Memorial Day rule. It plagues me every year. And then there’s winter white? Why is that OK but the lines between March and May are completely blurry?
Well, I’ve created a new rule. In my world white jeans, shorts, skirts and dresses are OK adored after Easter. And guess what? Easter is right around the corner . . . YEE HAW.
