Today I am left so humbled and grateful for friends. I had my first baby shower this weekend and it was so overwhelming in the best kind of way. My sissy and sissy-in-law put so much time, effort and thought into making it a beautiful afternoon. I was surrounded with a few sweet friends who accompanied their mamas, my mama’s closest friends and my mama-in-law’s closet friends. I know I say this a lot on here but I really do pray for Georgia’s friends. I hope she finds good ones. True ones. Real-life ones. Just like I have and just like her nana and nanny have.
I really can’t imagine doing life without my friends and I am grateful that mom and mom-in-law have the same support system. It is so true that God strategically puts people in your life. And I can’t wait to see who he places in Georgia’s life.
Oh and pregnancy brain means scatter-brained like no other so I forgot my camera for the big day (tear). But my sissy snapped some for me so as soon as I get them I will post them :)
