truth.  spoken by carrie bradshaw.  except i'd like to change the words "the women of new york" to "the women of america."  today marks the first day of new york fashion week spring 2014 collections.  just the thought of the buzz of the city gives me chills.  can you imagine what it's like this week?   i can't.  but i try.  so for the next week i will be glued to E News, trying to catch glimpses of the gorgeous runways and chic celebs sitting front row.  it really is magical.

one day ill be there.  maybe not at a show.  maybe not front row.  but ill be in new york city during fashion week.  but until then, i'll enjoy my glimpses from my couch.  while i sip champagne or some other fabulous cocktail, wearing the best my own closet has to offer.  because fashion week is for a new beginnings.  a fresh start.
